I do not, nor am I making it easier for criminals to get guns. Implementing the three gun law will not hinder them from getting guns.

Yes a person is more likely to have a negligent discharge than they are to fire on a bad guy. What you should know is that an honest person is more likely to use that gun to defend themselves than accidentally fire it hurting a loved one.
Only one percent of defense situations lead to the good guy actually firing his weapon. 6% of the time the good guy is hurt, and 93% of the time neither is hurt and the situation is deescalated.
I do agree that people should seek training before owning. But once again, you can not require that for a right. I do believe that offering tax breaks on purchases for those that receive training would help out a lot.
And if anyone wants training, I am willing to teach them for free. They only need to come to me, and buy their own rounds.
It is not much. But it is a start.
