YES!!!!!!!
EU Economy was USD 13.06 Trillion in 2006 and the
U.S. was over 13.5 Trillion in 2006 (they're showing 13.84, but that was 2007 so I deducted 2.2% for growth.)
In addition, per capita GDP was $44,987 vs $29,900, meaning that U.S. output per person was an asounding
50% higher than the EU!
Also the U.S. continues to grow at around twice the rate of the EU almost EVERY year.
To top it off, 17% of the EU citizens live below the poverty threshhold, while only 12% of U.S. citizens live below the poverty threshold. To top it off, if we were to apply the same standard as the EU does for the Poverty Threshold, only 3% of our citizens would be living below the poverty line!
So YES, that's is why I was laughing so hard!

America is not a Socialist country, this is why the only democrats who ever win, are democrats who SOUND like Republicans (Hello Bill Clinton - Low taxes, Free Trade, Welfare Reform, Era of Big Government Over - Sounds Republican).
