Since John Kerrys recommendation for a Purple Heart for events on Dec. 2, 1968 at Cam Ranh Bay, was denied by Commander Grant Hibbard, how the heck did he get it? His gun jammed and he got a scratch that was treated
with bacitracin and a band-aid. He recommended himself by filing false paperwork and it was denied. Well, I would like to know how he got it.
Where is the official paperwork and how can we get it?
