Just because I listed those examples, doesn't mean I believe in them. This is just an example of what people believe in.
I believe America is as corrupt and greedy as the next country. I'm not justifying it, but I'm not saying it's a bad thing either. America might not be here, and you might not have the freedom to type your opinions on this forum if there wasn't some type of greed here or there.
Some of your posts just look at the bad side of what America has done over it's history. You don't both to look at what good it's done.
Was slavery necessary? Probably not 100%.(I'm not supporting slavery at all, it's a bad) But would America be here, with the power and freedom it has today? Having the resources and ability to provide for it's people? Probably not.
Bombing Japan probably wasn't the best move. What would have happened if we didn't take drastic measures? Other than Pearl Harbor happening over again, and again, Japan was ready to attack Mainland USA, and actually tried too many times.
You guys focus on the negativity of actions. Like you got tunnel vision or something. You don't give credit for the positive outcome for the country.
What other actions did America have after being attacked at Pearl Harbor? Ask Japan not to do it again? That seriously seems to be some of your guys opinions.
