Neither will get to define how history is written. But we can all see hints of how it will be and it doesn't look good for either Bill Clinton or the Bush haters.
Bill will likely be defined by part he'd rather have eveyrone forget and the Bush haters will vanish.
In example...We don't read much about Hoover other then in terms of the Great Depression and we don't even know about the Cleveland Haters.
If you want a real time example ..Nixon. Both are occuring with him.
What is being chosen to remember of him is not exactly what he wanted to be remembered for(watergate) and his haters are fading out of the discussion/history.
