Ill agrees with the title thread! When you have a candidate that appears to be so different and out of the loops of politics as usual (a hell of lot more then others) you want to throw your support behind that candidate and defend him when others spew lies and mis-information. You can take bush's quotes and recorded statements and play them back for people and they say, "It’s not true of his character". Then you see the other side play the recorded statements of someone else’s comments , statements, rants , rhetoric and its immediately associated with that candidate and said to be an example of that candidates character. Why the double standard? This is why people may seem obsessed! When confronted with absolute Hypocrisy, they have to go on the defensive, but how do you dis-spell a lie that is firmly believed by many? Lots of arguing!!!!! Over and over again ....Obsessed!
