Default The many ways John Kerry betrayed his fellow soldiers

1) Kerry likely served as an intermediary between the Vietnamese communists and the families of POWs to get them to disavow the war in hopes of winning better treatment for their captured and imprisoned relatives:

2) John Kerry falsely testified before congress about atrocities that were never committed on behalf of people who weren't even in Vietnam (but claimed to be) and never disavowed those people who lied about other vets.

Winter Soldier claims: http://ice.he.net/~freepnet/kerry/in...pic=Atrocities

3) John Kerry stated that human rights violations were widespread and a "way of life" for our armed forces, exposing his fellow soldiers to horrific treatment at the hands of the anti-war movement as baby-killers and thugs:

(John Kerry, 1970, Valley Forge VVAW rally: "My Lai was not an isolated incident but rather a way of life for many of our military."

4) John Kerry met with representatives of the North Vietnamese Government to negotiate on behalf of VVAW in Paris in direct contravention of U.S. law.

5) The VVAW (of which John Kerry was a key member), threatened civil unrest and violence if American forces attempt to interdict the Ho Chi Minh Trail in Laos (the Ho Chi Minh trail being the primary route by which armaments which were used to kill U.S. soliders were placed in the hands of the Viet Cong):

"We, as veterans of the war in Vietnam, give notice that if Laos is attacked, we will respond at once. We call for mass civil disobedience to take place all over this country. We call for industry to shut down. We call upon the students to close the schools. We call upon our brothers who are still in uniform to close the military bases throughout America and the world. We call on the anti-war movement to shut down the major cities of America.... If this be a threat, let us make the most of it... We have been trained to fight. If need be we will use the knowledge we have gained against those who are seeking to extend this war." -- VVAW FBI Files: Section 02, page 66.

This threat put the lives of U.S. military service personnel at greater risk.

This man does not deserve to lead our troops....EVER.
