In 1976 I voted for Jimmy Carter.
In 1980 I voted for Ronaldus Maximus
In 1984 I voted for Ronaldus Maximus again.
In 1988 I voted for the Shrub's father.
In 1992 I voted for the little guy from Texas.
In 1996 I couldn't vote in good conscience for either candidate.
In 2000 I voted for the Shrub.
In 2004 I held my nose and voted for the Shrub again.
So I guess I'm responsible for the Iran hostage crisis, Ollie North, "No new taxes!", NAFTA, Monica, and the Iraq war...
However, I don't think it's asking too much for a prospective voter to demonstrate a little knowledge of how the system operates.
