Exactly what the government can do in regards to privacy is one thing. I and believe even in the Bush times you had to at least be calling outside the country to get flagged.

But beyond that it seems a bit unfair to be going after the telecom companies. At least not without some clear case that they knew they were really doing something wrong. Tapping phone conversations is something they do regularly and legally right? I don't know if they had any idea if FISA had authorized that stuff or not.

If something illegal happened sue Bush.
