Although you're going off topic simply take a cheap shot at Democratic...Your example is partially correct, The US Government is looking out for the best interest of the country and can care less whats good for the world. That is human nature. As for domestic interest, those who are rich despise handouts and swindling of cooperate taxes because its not in their best interest and vice versa regarding the poor. Everyone is out for their best interest, not just Democratic voters, but Republicans too. There are poor Republican farmers down in Alabama who wouldn't think twice about accepting financial assistance and in some cases ask for it. In fact, they vote for the Republican Governor which gives it to them and continue to stand firmly beside them. Its human nature. The rich don't wanna be taxed, while the poor wish for more economic aid.
