First of all, I didn't write the infraction, and I'm done speaking for the mod that did.

Second: So we're not "playing ignorant."

Gay:
1: Happy.
2: Homosexual.
3: A generic insult.

We don't see every post that gets published. That is reality. None of us have time to read every thought every user has. That's not what we were asked to do. Mods are capable of reversing infractions and warnings. I know you know this because I've done it for you when you've made a good case.

Again, you need to take this up with the mod that wrote your infraction. I really can't speak with any authority on what you are asking for here.

You and I agree here. It IS offensive that the term "gay" means homosexual and also is a generic insult. No one ever said you were protected from being offended here. I have plenty of gay friends that mean a great deal to me, and it bugs me every time I hear that word used pejoratively. What you are asking the mods to do is parse that line based on existing relationships. The problem is two-fold. First is that new users are wholly unaware of any ongoing humor, friendships, rifts, or dislikes. Second is that the mods can't keep up with the web of relationships that exists between all the users. Your post is open to interpretation. You need to take it up with the mod that wrote your infraction.

As far as I'm concerned, I have shed all the light I am capable of shedding onto this subject. You need to take it up with the principle mods that wrote your infractions and banned you.

My post left nothing open to interpretation. It was not referring to definition one (happy) or definition three (lame) and was most certainly referring to definition two (homosexual). What exactly was your point with this little venture into vocabulary enrichment?

Perhaps I would do that if said mod was capable of a discussion with me beyond simple and stupid remarks like 'I am mod, therefore I am right'.

I don't think anyone was stupid enough to mistake my use of gay in that post for the generic insult definition you are referring to or maybe you need to be reminded of its contents. It certainly wasn't something stupid like 'you are so gay'.

Also, funny that I've touched on every single point I brought up in the deleted threads for which I was banned and have yet to be banned again. Why the hell is that? Do I need to wait for ABoyNamedSue to log in again?

As a straight, who on this board has had it implied that I am gay on a number of occasions, I must say that as I am, due to age, in the Autumn of my sexual life I actually take it as a compliment!
