Default The wheels are coming off the cart...
The fact that the Democrats are accusing the Republicans of outsmarting them with this "trick" shows they don't mind admitting not being smart enough to be duped. It's a clear admission of their inferiority, yet they don't even realize they're doing it.

Kerry's backed into a corner now. There is no one else to turn to for help. He's gone through his staff, and now the new guys in the past two weeks have led him back to the Viet Nam albatross. They clearly can't get the focus on anything domestic. He can't seem to be definitive about any issue because there's at least 10 to 12 sound bites that show him contradicting himself which eats away at his credibility.

In the meantime, President Bush is pulling away in the polls. The gap is widening.
