Default Doesn't hold water

Even the white house correspondents thought something was up because some of the staffers were smiling when they handed them out.
Ah. Wouldn't that be Divine justice IF ONLY it were true?!! I would have been 100% behind that one: "Oh...you say you're going to smear me with this documents? Hey......go right ahead."

But there's some flaws in your comments. First of all, the White House has "routinely" released everyone of Bush's military records that are handed to them. That's been their policy. Why would you....or CBS....have thought they'd be saved for only CBS's eyes? So, the fact that handed these records out to other news organizations was not unusual.

And secondly.....the Bush WH is saying they have no idea if the documents are real or fake. It's Dan Rather and CBS who are still standing firmly behind them as being authentic. They are not claiming that they were duped by the WH....or anyone else. So, your theory doesn't hold water.
