I really don't think it would, there are a lot of people who don't buy into this Global Warming BS. Most of my stories on my website, get between 50 to 100 Diggs, when I did one on NASA misstating the numbers, I got over 700 Diggs. People are fed up with this B.S. and they're tired of having to pay higher gas prices because of it.
