Nah, I know what you mean. I'm not trying to be a jerk. I guess it would be nice if everyone could play nice and speak well of each other but I just don't think that the modern usage of the word 'gay' will change anytime soon. It's very entrenched in our culture and, as Makkede pointed out, is often used to imply something other than homosexual. I understand you don't like the fact that it's used for negative connotations but that's just not going to change.
