Look, polite and well bred people do not use words that diminish others. However, there is a difference between saying that using such words displays a lack of class and saying that it shouldn't be allowed. Just take a quick look at what's happening in Canada and their human rights commissions. Hurt someone's feelings there and you get sanctioned and fined. Which is BS. The proper sanction when people use terms that diminish others is to shame them. Jesse Jackson is currently learning to eat crow and humble pie. Just about right.
