I heard a black person explain that it's a "bad word" because of the hurt that it reminds them of. So, if the word brings back painful memories, why would the black people want to use it?
How do you tell a kid that it's a bad word only if some people use it?
It's just more of "seperate but equal", or pure BS. "Your free speech is free only if I say so".
