I would be curious about this guys analysis. The guy himself says that at the end of Republican candidacies the economy is picking up near the end of terms while Republicans get elected when the economy is going bad at the end of Democratic terms.

In recent history Clinton rode the dot come bubble and the good part of the housing bubble. Both, inevitably, popped under Bush.
