I have seen many people suffering from PD, and it is awful to see them. I have one elderly customer who suffers severely from PD. He can barely hand me the money for his meal - he simply holds his hand out and I take what change I need. He has trouble holding the tray and cups so I have to help him sit down because he would eithor drop the tray or burn himself otherwise.
I don't mind doing this - he doesn't seem upset or bad tempered, in fact, he seems to have a sense of humour, in that he sees his 'shaking' as being funny. I think it's wonderful that he can find the good in a bad situation.
I can't imagine what his home life would be like, not being able to grasp things, having trouble feeding himself, etc.

I really hope that one day, there is a cure found for PD - but I do not think embryonic stem cells are the answer.
I am not against ESCR because I am pro life - I am pro choice - but for me, it just doesn't feel right. I really can't explain it, but I find ESCR disturbing. I think there are plenty of other things out there we should be trying first, but nothing is being given a chance because scientists are enamoured with these embyonic stem cells - which are yet to cure anyone of a disease or illness.
