I doubt this thing will even make it through the autumn.

The politicians are feeling the wrath of the people atm and they are not used to that. Even the newspapers are pushing hard with campaigns against it.

So i seriously doubt it will be a working law in 2009.

What i find more interesting though is why exactly this came to be at all?

It seems the big thing is to monitor russias internet traffic that tunnels through Sweden? With the recent "revelation" that the FRA authority "shares information" with other partners...things gets interesting.

Oh well, it'll be an interesting autumn.
