Well, if you trace back page after page, you have "white man" claiming he shouldn't feel guilty about slavery any more. The problem is they should take the time to know something about African and slavery history as well as black US history so their emotion should be empathy instead of guilt. Big difference, me thinks. You should know more than "there was slavery in this country".
