Oh, come on. You are kidding right? Is there anything stupidity that won't be blamed on the terrorists? Seriously, do you forsee a time when a hillbilly with a Mac-10 will be able to foil a terrorist attack? Gun afficionados should just say that they like guns and at least that would be understandable. After all, rich men with "manhood" problems buys huge SUVs or hummers so I guess it shouldn't surprise anyone that non-rich men with "manhood" problems compensate by buying guns. If it makes them feel better, I say "go for it."

I think some gun control (reasonable waiting periods, etc.) do lessen crime, but on the whole I think you are right.

You have no idea what the patriot act is being used for. And, to believe that the patriot act hasn't infringed on our rights is patantly wrong. You can argue that the infringements have been
reasonable, but you cannot argue that there have been no infringements.

Again, I don't think that most people who protested hated Dubya, but they don't like what he is doing. I was not protesting, but I agree with some of their views (iraq war, etc.).
