So its a good idea to let the mechanic drive your fixed car around as his personal transportation for a few days(i am assuming thats what you mean since letting it sit there wouldn't prove anything either way)in order to gaurd against a future breakdown? Sounds like the same type of faulty logic the Bush Administration uses.
