Default You Know You're a Republican/Democrat If...

You Know You're a Republican/Democrat If... by Frank Benjamin. Has anyone read this book? I saw it in a bookstore this weekend, and the few pages I flipped through were hilarious. It spares neither party and plays on the stereotypes attributed to both.

The author chooses a topic. On one page, he addresses it from the Republican point of view and on the facing page addresses it from the Democrat point of view.

The two examples I remember went something like this:

- You Know You're a Republican If... you believe you hit a triple because you started out on third base.
- You Know You're a Democrat If... you hit a single but believe you should be on third base because everyone else is.

- You Know You're a Republican If... you hate your gay uncle but invite him to your son's graduation because he's rich.
- You Know You're a Democrat If... you hate your rich uncle but invite him to your daughter's wedding because he's gay.

I liked what I saw but would love to know what others (particularly those who have read the book) think...

Thanks!
