Default Most abortions are murder

The central question is whether or not the unborn child/fetus/choose your favourite term here____ can be considerred a human person or not. That is the central question... if the fetus (I'll go with that term from now on for ease of use) is a human person, then an abortion is the equivalent of murder. Legalized murder, perhaps, but murder nonetheless. That is basic logic that all can accept with, or with out, religious beliefs.

If I remember correctly, death (the end of life) is medically determined to be at the point of the cessation of brain activity. Therefore, I think that it logically follows that the beginning of life would be medically determined to be at the point of the beginning of brain activity. Going by this reckoning, most abortions are murder, as brain activity as been found to be in fetus' as young as 5 weeks old in the womb. Therefore, any abortions performed past this point of 5 weeks should be illegal, as they are logically the equivalent of murder.

To argue that "women should have the right to choose" here is the same as saying that "women should be allowed to murder people". It's a baseless argument, in my opinion.

I see nothing wrong with showing pictures of aborted fetus' to people old enough to not be overly traumatized by them.
