I have said before that Pakistan is an Ally on the war on terror. Probably our most important one. Musharraf has has done a decent amount to find real terrorists But he is facing a rebellion or civil war from his own people if he does too much more. This is because a significant part of his population are enraged by the war in Iraq. Without the war in Iraq, he could be a even better partner in the war on terror. And isn't the war on terror the war that we are trying to fight.

The war in Iraq has sucked recources away from fighting terrorists and made it harder for our muslim allies to fight terrorists.
