There is NO WAY that anybody should be trying to verify votes when they know who the person voted for. In Florida, they were trying to give Gore votes for "dented" chads, and throwing out military votes that they said arrived late. If the election is close at all, you can bet this kind of thing could cause riots. The whole reason for having a deadline for registration is so they can verify the voter before the election. I'd like to knock some sense into these people.
