OK so now we have DBG insulting another poster, who simply attempted to open up a conversation about an idea which has been actively kicked around in our government for the last decade or so. It is a perfectly legitimate topic.
As far as his statement about most people having rudimentary math skills, that is (*)(*)(*)(*)ed true. If you truly were an "IT professional" in your make believe "profile" you would agree with him.
Now you may be correct about one thing. It doesn't take a math genius to understand how a flat tax works. Even an average American like yourself can figure that out. That is indeed one of the touted benefits to that system.
However, part of the reason people study math is that it develops logical thinking abilities. If you truly had the advanced logical thinking abilities that you so readily tout on this board, you would be capable of making the inference needed to arrive at the conclusion that a progressive tax is more socialistic than a flat tax.
I'm not going to explain it to you because it is frankly so simple that I would rather let you walk around scratching your head for a few more minutes. Of course that would be after you get done flexing for yourself in the mirror while wearing a sock in your shorts and a John Kerry face mask.
If you have nothing to contribute other than your inance proclamations of superiority, then haul ass. You should spend more time in school if that's all you can do.
