in reality more people probably smoke or have smoked weed in the usa than dont/havent. let's get real...this is an amazingly harmless recreational...not unlike alcohol, but not as dangerous as alcohol. By the way, FYI...in case you don't know John McCain's record...he has been an advocate for the legalization of marijuana since the late 80's. also, in california, they now have pharmacy marijuana vending machines to distribute the product easier...obviously with prescription. the stigmatation of weed is ridiculous...eating chinese food with MSG is more dangerous. I think that legalizing marijuana overall is good for the country.
-Many people choose to smoke pot is because it is rebellious. -Marijuana is hardly more dangerous than tobacco or alcohol. There would, of course, have to been many regulations on usage such as there are for tobacco and alcohol. I think that, in moderation, marijuana is not that detrimental to our society. -It would alleviate the strain on our prison system. -Produce tons of money is tax revenues. -Reduce crime.

What difference would it make if everyone is dead from overdoses or high. America's culture and traditions would go straight down the (*)(*)(*)(*) bowl.
