Take Heart PI
....All is not lost and Catz does make some very good points. Remember, we the people still have the power and it took a very small minority to tip the scales Jr's way. In effect, GAY RIGHT and ABORTION won this for Bush. And the Dems have to find a way to reach the Evagenlicals.
Don't forget that most who voted for Bush did so NOT because Kerry is such a bad choice but that they are not comfortable with "changing horses in midstream". I happen to disagree in this instance but it seemed more people are willing to allow Bush to correct the course. Lets us pray he does coz we will all be the better for it.
The Republican party is close to splitting, just like the dems b/w the Moderates and Right wingers. Just look at the stars of the party, RUDY, ARNOLD, MCCAIN...These are pro-choice and gay rights individuals. The Party is still controlled by the Delays, Hasterts, Santoriums, Robertsons, Falwells and co. Do you think they will allow a Pro-choice Republican to represent them? I do not think so...
This will allow both parties to look deep..really deep and figure out what direction they wanna go. For Dems, the time is NOW. For Republicans, the just got a 4-Year extension.
So, do not fret. If you have to worry, worry about our nation, worry about us "common folks" sticking together and holding the people we elect, REP and DEM accountable and keep them on short leashes.
If this election has taught them anything, its that we the MASSES have woken up and we will do everything to keep them honest or else they will suffer the consequences.
