if you want to assign blame for this financial dilemma, it lies primarily - but not entirely - with the republican regime
however, each investor makes his investment with a determination of how much risk he/she can afford
no one was complaining when the market went up. no one was offering to give up a portion of their heavier earnings. so, they now have no one to blame but themselves for accepting the diminishment of a higher risk investment. don't bet what you cannot afford to lose
