Default Abortions

It's not a matter of being a Christian or not. We have laws in this country. We decide what kind of country we want to be and we make laws to ensure it. For instance, we don't legalize polygamy.....we don't legalize smoking pot and other forms of drugs. Other countries do. But we don't. Even an athiest has to abide by the laws. Religion has nothing to do with it.

I don't even know that i would want to make abortions criminal. However, I do know that the federal government shouldn't be paying for them. I do know that tax dollars should not be paying for them. And i do know that partial birth abortions and later-term abortion should be banned. This is a horrible practice and there is NEVER a situation where a mother's life depends on killing her baby as it starts down the birth canal. NEVER. That "mother's health" stipulation is simply a cop-out and a rationalization to make people feel better about what they are doing.
