Default No more religious folks voted for Bush this go around

than voted for him the last time. That's the issue.

So, the difference in votes came from another source. I attribute it to increased numbers of conservative black/Latino voters and those concerned about the WOT who crossed over, like me.

The reason we register for parties is that prior to the general election, there are primary elections for political positions ranging from mayors to senators and even the president. In order to vote in your party's primary, you must be registered to your party. I voted in the primary, for John Edwards. I have never voted for John Kerry, and never will.
