They will be electing their own government in a few months...just like Afghanistan (Cant help notice that criticism of Afghanistan has all but evaporated since their own successful elections occurred without incident). If they elect their own representatives, and we do not override the decisions of those representatives, then we are
not occupiers. Correct?
The people of Iraq have not "told" us anything...no one appointed
you to speak for them.

It is irresponsible and dangerous (both to them and us) to leave until the new government is firmly established.
I think liberals
know this, which is why they want us to leave. They know the longer we are there, the better the chances the new government will take hold. And of course the credit would go to Bush and the Republicans. Cant have that now can we?
