An example of DEW is the laser; although very powerul in controlled environment lasers exibite great power to bore/burn holes on 1/2" solid steel. When airborne; any particle of pollution. will greaty degrade power of the laser. This is just one example of a DEW. As far as far as I know the laser is the most powerful weapon (DEW).
It does not make any sense to me that the DEW's could destroy both towers. I am certain that no airborne or space DEW has the power to do much damage at all, let alone those massive WTC's.
Basically what I'm trying convey here is that any action to purposely attack the U.S.A. would create so complex and problem so massive and involve so many people it would be impossible to have them all keep the information secret.
We are talking about several thousand people here. I do not believe it can be done.
What brought the towers down? Here are a few ideas; when the plane crashed there it shocked the entire structural physically damaging the support super structure, created an umbalance created a sustained torque, the shear weight, intensity and duration and building fuel load, chimmny, wind tunnel effect, all these I think can in combination cause catastrophe failure o the WTC's.
