First we have to address the point that you copied and pasted a quote from Cossiga that you thought supported your view, but in fact after a minute and a half of investigation shows that it's the complete opposite.

Also telling is the way you dealt with the dissonance between the two statements. You simply assumed he changed his public statement because he was threatened. Now only is that completely unsupported, how would a threat like that work exactly? People like you keep using the first statement in your arguments anyway and you clearly had no clue about the followup statement. Why would someone threaten assassination for something that's already been said? Why would it work? If Cossiga really was trying to implicate Berlusconi in such a scandal, wouldn't he know the risk before hand?
