when you click on the post button, don't just type and submit. Actually take time to play with all the buttons. Experiment.

You can try the "Add an Attachment" feature. It will put a small thumbnail of your picture in your post. When other users read and click on your picture, it will open up to regular size. Just click the Browse button, and search for the pic you wish to post on your computer. Then click Add attachment when you find it.

It takes a bit of playing to get it to work, but you can get it with a little trial and error. You did wonderfully with your avatar.
