Default oh the irony

400 or so years ago, Isaac newton, was coming up with mathematical formulae to decribe the motion of matter, and indeed his most famous discovery of the equation which describes gravity & interplanetary motion.

This work went against the original ideas of the Catholic church, who believed that God had a plan for eveything, and that a determinitsic math formula for planetary motion went against the understandings of the Church. If it weren't for the Puritans , who sheltered him, the wrolrd as we know it might be very different.

The irony is now, The puritans want to go against scientific understanding by rolling out creationism, and that theories of evolution, big bangs would be forgotten.

Just a thought
