So then how useful is an organization that cannot enforce policies. And do we really
want a world organization that enforces polies on nations. I place the Constitution above UN resolutions. Why? How can American citizens vote out a member of the UN if they do not like how it is being led? So we have to live by UN rules, but we have no system of checks and balances, and no way of voting members out of the UN if we do not like those rules. So should the UN have that power to enforce rules. I don't know about you but I am pretty wary of a world organization that has power like that. As long as we do nothing to subvert the US Constitution I am good with breaking UN resolutions. Can I blame another nations for breakign resolutions? No. But they better be prepared to reap the consequences if their reasons for breaking that resolution conflicts with our security and human rights.
