A bipartisan Presidential campaign would be amazing - not to mention historic - but I sincerely doubt it will happen. It would be political suicide for McCain as a Republican.

I think Clark's a good candidate. Kerry's perceived as stronger than BUsh on domestic issues, weaker than Bush on international defense. (Reiterating: Perceived, not necessarily an accurate representation.) Clark, given his very recent war experience, would be an excellent boost to this facet of Camp Kerry.
