There may well be some positive things going on in Iraq, and I sincerely hope there are, but the over-riding reality is that with today's corporate media "If it bleeds, it leads" is the mantra....No-one wants to hear about some youths helping an old lady crossing the street...they want to hear about some youths beating the snot out of the old lady, taking her Giro check and going down the pub to get pissed...
Overall a very sad commentary...
