I am strongly opposed to the death sentence in the face of recent revelations of its inaccuracy. I find it strange that so many people abhor the many glaring flaws in our justice system yet still trust it to dole out the ultimate and irreversible price. I suspect that has to with a need for vengeance that supersedes common sense, and which incidentally has no place in legal reasoning.
