Certainly there is life. Just as individual sperm cells have life. And yet a sperm cell is not a viable example of human life. So what is your point?

Cell division starts soon after a sperm cell enters an egg, yes. But a viable human being is usually only available after the fetus has spent at least 6 months in the womb.
