Default I'm Pro-Life

As a male, I hate myself for being pro-life. I hate myself because I will never have to go through the pain and horror of pregnancy and childbirth, yet I am opposing women preventing the same agony for themselves. At the same time, I get the sense that many pro-choice males just take a pro-choice stance to call themselves "pro-feminist" and then be misogynistic pigs in every other way. I've thought a lot about how and why the killing of millions of babies became legal and is legal today. My conclusion is that, without exception, womanizing, deserting males are to blame. They lie to women, make them pregnant and then leave them in poverty, emotional agony or both and abortion is exactly how they get away with it. I don't believe that a single woman has undergone an abortion unless she was emotionally abused in this way. I might choose abortion if I were a woman who had been treated in this way. I really don't know. Moreover, I don't think that any woman is truly "pro-abortion", but I think that many men are, since abortion allows them to put into practice what amounts to a rape mentality towards women. The worst part is that I don't think the government can do a thing about it, and even if it could in theory, the same civil libertarian groups that support the pro-choice movement would oppose the necessary measures.
Let me put it in this way: Until these womanizing fiends of the pit are somehow controlled, there will be abortion. I think it is ethically incorrect, moreover, to state that women have abortions. The men who made them pregnant are solely responsible for the deaths of their babies. If it weren't for my absolute opposition to capital punishment, I would support executing every last one of these males- both for the pain they cause women and for the slaughter of babies that they bring about. I do have further ideas on the subject, but they will never be put into practice, and abortion isn't going to end.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on the womanizing theory

i think the reason there is so many cases of abortion nationwide is due to the lack of education on contraception. in the school systems these days, the family life programs main focus is abstinence till marriage. there is limited discussion on popular and effective contraception techniques and products. maybe if there was more organizations like planned parenthood to try to educate other ideals other than abstinence only then we'd actually be getting some where in stopping this problem.

the only thing the family life program absolutely has to discuss with the current regulations in place is abstinence

Well, if you look at entsetzen's profile, you will notice that he is of the male gender, so, of course, he has a vested interest in denying the role of promiscuous males in the slaughter of the innocents.

if by being male makes me pro-slaughter...maybe i wouldnt be a vegetarian?

maybe you shouldnt try to read so much into people based solely on weather they're male or female.

i've never had a strong male role model in my life, and was raised by a single working mother, who also is in turn my hero for being able to succeed in such a situation. i'm sorry but if you think that just because i'm a guy i think its ok to treat women terribly, womanize, have children and not take responsibility for them and hope that they are aborted or die in child birth, you're sadlymistaken

Default .

Pro-choice is not "pro-abortion", it is simply the choice to let a woman/girl decide for herself which choice she wants, according to her needs and/or situations.

Note, entsetzen, that I did not say that your being male necessarily makes you in favor of treating women terribly, womanizing, siring children irresponsibly and then hoping they will be aborted, and such like, rather merely that being male gives you a vested interest in the continuance of the current situation, which gives you the power to do so, whether you choose to use that power or not, which by the way, is something that can be technically correctly said of every other man living in a patriarchal society. BTW - heikstheo is Theodore (yes, a mere g..d... man), not Theodora (though I often wish I had been born a lesbian). I am sorry to hear that your sperm-donor was a disgusting little pr!ck who did not stay around to take responsibility for the results of where his sperm landed. Hopefully, you will learn from the painful experiences of your childhood and do better by your own children than your father did by you. That said, it is not necessarily an either/or propsition as to the cause of abortion being irresponsible men or lack of good sex education. It could very well be a both/and proposition. While it is nice to believe that abortion is simply a woman exercising her legal and natural right to have sex like a man (i.e., to treat it like no more than a fun roll in the hay and abandon the consequences, as men have been doing for thousands of years), all too often abortion is the result of the economic coercion of women by men who threaten to leave if the woman doesn't have an abortion. That said, I never said that I'm against a woman's right to get an abortion if that's what she wants, merely that I think there would be fewer abortions if men were man enough to step up to the plate and do their responsibilities like real men ought to.

I think you still have to balance the blame. To choose an abortion is a women's decision, but her decision is often influenced by her male partner.

In cases where the man does not use protection when clearly the situation demands it, then it is his fualt. But children should be taught about contraceptives in school, it is obsurd that sometimes they aren't, and then an accident happens.

Default Maybe

South Dakota just banned ALL abortions except ones where the woman is in danger of dying. This willlikely go to the SC. The most recent SC abortion case was a 9-0 decision. The SC ruled that, although they often preach violence, they can preach coutside abortion clinics. However, I believe the conservatives made a mistake in South Dakota.

Without stating my views, the South Dakota decision will lead toa definitive decision on Roe V. Wade. Even with Alito taking the place of swing vote, O'Connor, there is a 5-4 majority for Roe. This'll cause them to make a strict vote onthe case. This may dismiss any chances of overturning the case.

You find reasons to hate yourself. By doing so you prevent the emotional growth that comes naturally through happiness.
You, and a great many others, have internalized quite a lot of guilt. You have the intellectual tools to discover why this is so and then to emerge for your bondage.

Sex is a choice between TWO people. A pregnancy is the result of two people choosing to have sex which no no forced them to do (I'm not talking about rape, I mean normal situations.)

It is wrong of you to blame one side without seeing the faults of the other side as well. You cannot assume that every abortion case was because of a womanizing man.. For all you know the girl could had been slutty or like in most cases.. IT WAS AN ACCIDENT.
