Why dont conservative adopt babies, from what I have read it is very hard to adopt in your country (red tape ect). That is why many Libs adopt abroad.

So in that context only, it appears a fiscal Conservative would find Bombing them cheaper!

My two best friends are adopted. One from the Philippines at age 3, with her 5-year-old sister, and the other as a baby, here in Western Australia. Both sets of parents are extremely conservative. And one of them, very religious (the two Philippino girls were adopted when her parents were missionaries).

They are not the only adopted children I know. Conservatives adopt babies all the time.

Why don't all liberals drive hybrids, give to the poor, and not buy things made in China? If you want to play the hypocrite game, don't point at conservatives. The left is around 1000% worse about it.

Got any stats to back that up? Or is it just your opinion?

We ride our bikes most places, recycle everything, switch everything off at the power point, don't use plastic bags for shopping (or anything), buy biodegradable recycled toilet paper, tissues and paper towels, will be using cloth nappies not disposables, all of our baby products are biodegradable, chemical-free and wherever possible, not disposable, we use organic cleaning products around the house and laundry, we buy organic fruit and vegetables, are vegetarians (completely before I got pregnant, and the meat we eat while I'm pregnant is organic and free-range), our cars are small and use a minimum of fuel, we don't use products that are tested on animals and we use natural power (sunlight, windows open etc) instead of man-made power wherever we can.

I'm sure you make an equal contribution - I'd love to hear about it.

The premise of this thread is that conservatives don't adopt babies. Zach suggested that liberals are `1000 times worse' and asked if they all drive hybrids etc. I said that WE didn't - and so we are an exception to the blanket rule applied here by BOTH sides to what are traditionally considered `liberal' or `conservative' value sets.

So I'm a bit confused by your response - were you just trying to be insulting?

Well I know a good number of libs, one of them is our historian, she is a fat cow, she does not walk unless she has to. So saying that We do this, or we do that, is not an accurate statement.

I was not being insulting. I was correcting an error. Just like the OP of this thread made. As I said earlier. I am what some would call conservative (though I really do not belong to a party). My parents are, but, HELLO, I was adopted.
