AFP - The head of the Israeli parliament's foreign affairs committee on Monday linked the possiblity of a truce between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip to the release of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.

AFP - Israel on Monday authorised the resumption of fuel deliveries to the besieged Gaza Strip, where shortages caused the only power plant to shut down over the weekend, an Israeli security official said.
