    Russia is seeing a rise.

The U.S. is turning more pro life

"the pro-life label is no longer a disadvantage for candidates seeking public office. In fact, it now carries a net positive appeal in Missouri—and probably in many other states as well."

"Most significantly, the Gallup pollsters found that 87 percent of Americans would favor a law “requiring doctors to inform patients about certain possible risks of abortion before performing the procedure.” Similarly, the survey found that:

    — 71 percent would favor a law “requiring women under 18 to get parental consent for any abortion.”

    — 69 percent would favor a measure “requiring women seeking abortions to wait 24 hours before having the procedure done.”

    — 64 percent would support a measure making it illegal for a doctor to perform a late-term “partial birth abortion”— except when necessary “to save the life of the mother.”

    — 50 percent would support a law “requiring women seeking an abortion to be shown an ultrasound image of her fetus at least 24 hours before the procedure.”

    Further proof:

"Part two of a multi-part Gallup series on American abortion viewpoints focused on generational differences. Examining polling data since 1975, Gallup finds hope for the pro-life movement – that public opinion continues to trend in a pro-life direction. "

"Poll: Majority Of Americans Are Pro-Life"

Read em and weep abortion promoters. America is wising up, now perhaps you should follow suit!
Abortion is a horrific premeditated homicide, regardless of the stage of pregnancy or any other arbitrary threshold you dream up.

Now find reliable data on what percentage of Americans wish to outlaw abortions in the first trimester and you just may have a point.
Oh wait, all the data shows that most people other then evangelicals, do not wish to see abortion made illegal.

Just for once try to answer the question. What percentage of the population wants to see abortion outlawed? All the rest is just your pipe dream. Feel good studies for the ignorant.

I will not continue your off topic tangent line, how about you comment on the actual topic at hand and the ACTUAL OP?

The OP is vague and meaningless. If and when people will truly become pro-life then they will wish to see abortion made illegal. Now they do not.

Why not just show where it says people wish to see abortions made illegal?

Why not stay on topic and actually read the OP, which you CLEARLY have not done.

    does this confuse you?

"The answer, clearly, is that an increasing majority of Americans — both men and women — are identifying themselves more and more as pro-life"

    Or this?

"MARTIN: Now Frank, just to recap, last year when you asked the same question, 44 percent of those who responded said they were pro-life; now, 51 percent say they are pro-life. Is this an unusual shift on a question like this in just one year and, of course, we want to know what you make of it.

Mr. NEWPORT: It is a significant change. And it's not just that one poll. We actually replicated that and conducted a totally separate sample of another thousand individuals, and we found essentially the same change. And then we looked around and found that the Pew Research Center had found also a significant shift to the more conservative on abortion. Fox News poll found significant shifts to the more conservative position on abortion and other polls have as well, and not just on that question.

The other question we track is, should abortion be totally legal, totally illegal, or legal in some circumstances? And we found a shift in that question, as well, towards a more conservative position. "

I did read what you posted, that is why I know that nowhere it states that people wish to make abortion illegal. What does your statement mean really other than feel good fluff. What is identifying oneself more pro-life? Don't pro-lifers wish to outlaw abortion? Clearly most people do not.
