  1. #1

Default The Merck Manual says a Fetus is a baby

The Merck Manual is a well respected medical reference book. This is what they have to say about whether or nt a fetus is a human being or a baby:

"A baby goes through several stages of development, beginning as a fertilized egg. The egg develops into a blastocyst, an embryo, then a fetus."

    http://www.merckmanuals.com/home/wom...egnancy&alt=sh

Read it and weap abortion promoting liars. A fertilized egg, blastocyst, embryo and a fetus are all babies.

You pinheads crying for a subject matter expert, here is an unassailable one!!!

Good grief, it does not such thing. It says a fetus is a fetus:

Did you miss the part where it says, "A baby goes through several stages of development....."

It helps to open the link. Nowhere does it say, "A fetus is a fetus."

Saw that. So? An adult goes through several stages of development as well. But an adult is not a baby; a baby is not a fetus; a fetus is not an embryo; an embryo is not a zygote.

Yeah, but it also says...''beginning as a fertilized egg. The egg develops into a blastocyst, an embryo, then a fetus."

It means that that baby (now born) HAS gone through stages to become a baby. You are reading the meaning wrong.

That is funny, you are responding to a quote from the web site that exactly says that a baby is a fetus at one stage.

Blind denial doesn't make your opinion seem very well reasoned.

You probably shouldn't read Merck.. it requires basic critical thinking skills.

So.... do you claim to have a point? Or just typing more nonsense?
It says what it says, does it not?
