I think you might have a misimpression about how women feel when they get an abortion.

No woman likes the idea, at least none I've heard of. I think that's a pro life myth meant to demonize women who have abortions.

I think there are only varying degrees of bad feeling.

I disagree. There is a price one must pay when one takes a human life. No one escapes it, not even when the killing is legally or morally justified. The soldier who kills during war pays the price. The policeman who kills a perp pays the price. The men who must carry out an execution pay the price.

The price is much higher for a woman who has ended the life of her own child.

So let's demonize those that get an aboration. While we're out demonizing people for something legal, let's throw tomatoes at voters.

The thing about it is....the bible doesn't really even say abortion is wrong, or at least not directly.

It does advocate abortion if the child is illigitimate.

The Christian pro life movement here in the US has it's roots in the Catholic church...where the realively new concept of "sanctity of life" is a European construct, which echo's loudly with evangelicals in the US.

But the outrage over abortion has become a tool for the GOP, ever since Reagan
