It makes you as part of the majority, effective, as your manifesto resonated with the people, so are the majority of voters in the USA stupid and un-educated? I think you do them a dis-service.

Ps most of the german population acquiest to hitlers rule through fear, it would appear that the fear religion tries to instill does not work anymore for the majority

Laws are in place to protect actual lives, not potential lives. The law is not going to protect a life that may end in miscarriage or stillbirth.
